SPL-212P is primarily used in conjunction with chloroprene rubber to produce general purpose solvent-based.Although they are now approaching their centenary, phenolic resins continue to be used for a wide variety of applications, such as moulding powders, laminating resins, adhesives, binders, surface coatings and impregnants.

SP-1068 in a thermoplastic alkylphenol resin and is supplied in pastille, pellet, or flake form. SP-1068 is a moderate softening point resin typically used as a rubber tackifier. It is typically used to increase tack in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers, including SBR, BR, IIR, and IR rubber.

Properties: soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, esters and higher alcohols, compatible with most elastomers.

Application: Usage in plied-up constructions which require high building tack levels.
